Some thoughts on perking yourself:

Good evening my fam: I'm thinking that this could be a fun spot for any number of reasons. It could be a great place to share information on what we do for ourselves personally to make ourselves feel good, great, special etc. For instance I have a few nice things I do for myself: I drink Twinings Lady Gray Tea, it's on the pricey side but I'm worth it. It has all that good stuff in that the "green teas" have to fight off illnesses and whats more it tastes good too! No it is not so strong, as teas go it is a light tea with a great flavor and aroma. Good for you, tastes good too...what more could you ask for? Well you could use Vitamin E oil as a preventative against "old age" lines on your fresh little faces. I have been using it for about 2 years now and I'm sure you all have noticed how I now look like I'm 50 or less....agree or else! I use Natures Bounty E-Oil sold at Walgreens, it too is a little pricey but what the hay! I buy it when they have it for buy one get one free. Speaking of Walgreens if you like a good bargain check out their store brochure in Sunday's paper it is full of good special buys. Well there are a couple of bright perks I do for myself. Of course for years I have touted the fine effects of a warm/hot bath by candlelight. Ah the things we do for ourselves. Sweet! Love you all, SissyAunt Deb
P.S. If you haven't tried Burt's Bee's yet you need to get out more often.

Great idea! Right now the thing that makes me the happiest and perks me up on bad days is seing Dommie smile. He has such a great one, who could be in a bad mood after seeing it?!

Dommie makes everyone smile! Wish Dad could have enjoyed him, what a kick he would get out of him. ; )

I agree, I think all the children could of had a chance to meet Dad, They all would have loved him very much. and he would have loved all the new great grandchildren.

Once not too long ago, when Marshanna was still a spark in Christopher & Dianna's eye, Dad and I were chatting on the phone, all the grandsons where starting to grow up and there was a lull in the grandchild machine, Dad says to me, you know Debbie I miss them, and I says to Dad, miss what? And he says, "the babies", I love the babies, and I just set there and said, so it was "you" Dad?!? And there explains the history of the McClellans. Got to love a man that loves the child like he did, how lucky did WE all get? P.S. He told me once how much he loved Mom, he said he loved her so much that he put her on a pedestal, that she was the most wonderful thing that ever happened to him. I myself stood in awe of our parents and their love and relationship, as a young woman, I dreamed of having a love like that, finally I found that I do. Love takes awhile to grow you know. Love to you all!
